What is Keep It Up! (KIU!)?
KIU! is an online, interactive program for young gay, bisexual, and other young men who have sex with men (YMSM). It can be used across devices (i.e., phones, tablets, and computers), and it uses a variety of content such as videos, interactive animation, and games to help you learn what you need to know to stay safe while navigating the complicated waters of sex, dating, and relationships.
How was KIU! developed?
KIU! has been developed through multiple research projects out of Northwestern University. It has been through multiple versions, as with any technology-based products, and its content has evolved through input from YMSM as well as the latest science.

Why is there a need for HIV prevention programs for YMSM?
YMSM have consistently been one of the highest risk groups for HIV infection. The Centers for Disease Control estimates that YMSM have over 60 times the prevalence of HIV as compared to heterosexual youth.
